CIHEAM Zaragoza together with the European Forest Institute (EFI), through the EFI’s Mediterranean Facility (EFIMED), with the collaboration of the International Union of Forest Research Organizations (IUFRO), through the Working Party 7.03.14 organize this advanced course to present the current knowledge, concepts, criteria and methods concerning forest health assessment, monitoring and management in a context of global change.

For the first time, this afternoon, a dozen Mediterranean countries, several cooperation and research actors participated in the 2nd independent Mediterranean Dialogue of the United Nations Summit on Food Systems. A new step to advance on common ambitions for the region. Organised by the CIHEAM, the FAO, the UfM, the One Planet network and the Prima Foundation for more sustainable and inclusive food systems in the Mediterranean region, this 2nd Dialogue follows the first one held on 27 April 2021.

Smart Cultural Tourism as a Driver of Sustainable Development of European Regions

SmartCulTour aims to support regional development in European regions, with special attention to rural peripheries and the urban fringe, through sustainable cultural tourism. The project redefines cultural tourism through a contemporary lens and provides a comprehensive measurement framework for supply, demand and impacts.
